Elite Mindset - Vol 1

Now days whenever we hop onto Social Media, or turn on the TV its nontstop negative news, people arguing, everything turns political, and feels like an agenda to drive division into everyone. It’s impossible to be Happy while seeing all of this, or doing it yourself. So with this newsletter will try to push some funny stories, Memes, and might just ramble from time to time, but if it brightens a few days, its worth it!

Are People Crazy or Just having Fun?

Every so often ill see some people that I think need to seek some help. Like the Lady below, pulled into the Gas Station, Glance Over, and This lady is standing there with a Parrot on her shoulder. My immediate reaction was “the fuck”, as im sure most of yours would have been too.

But maybe this is a Service Parrot, that helps the lady Speak. Or Maybe its a Drug Sniffing Parrot and she’s an undercover cop? Or maybe she really is just crazy. All we know is whatever the circumstance, she appears to be have the “fuck it” mentality, and I applaud that mentality. We only live once, so do as much as you can, see as much as you can, and have more of a “fuck it”, mentality!

Magic Wand :

My Wife is extremely intelligent, but works Night Shift at the hospital and can cause her to be slower the next day. One of these times was recently when our middle Boy graduated kindergarten, and we were planning a whole party for his classmates at a friends house. She worked 3 in a row, and then was staying up to try and help get ready.

She was texting with the other Moms, and then told all 3 boys and I that we needed to find a Harry Potter wand we bought for our Oldest at Universal years earlier. None of us had seen this Wand in years, but we tore up the entire house looking for it, every room, every toy bin, old boxes in the garage etc. Finally after about 3 hours we found it hidden away.

Fast Forward we get to the Graduation Party, and I walk in with the Wand thinking it was some Themed party, waving it around and doing a few spells, before my Wife’s Friend asks if i’m really into Harry Potter. I look over and my Wife is just laughing at me, and most of the other Parent’s are just looking at me, so I just said “Gryffindor’s are always practicing”.

So just like Bird Lady from above i’m not in the same position! Am I crazy or just having fun?

So circling back, my wife had worked 3 in a row, woke up and asked her friend if she needed anything else for the party. My Wife’s friend had responded by saying, “yah a magic wand”, and my wife being a little slower that day took it literal and had all of us ransacking the entire house looking for a damn Harry Potter wand, that in the end made me look like the Bird Lady!

Stock Market Thoughts:

Overall we are in consolidation of the Momentum Phase. We are extended on most Weekly timeframes atm, and are consolidating on the dailies. During consolidation its better to take profit quicker, as we will see hard moves up, and back down while we see some resets happen.

I see nonstop Bears talking about recessions nonstop, but one of the biggest things a long time trader told me years ago was “Money will always go somewhere”, meaning big money wont just sit their money in a savings account, its always going to be allocated somewhere, and right now thats in Tech companies. Focus should be on Tech until we see a shift. Other sectors are having pops, but generally coming back down because while market looks fine right now, we are seeing liquidity issues and what liquidity we have is pushing into the Tech sectors.

Until we see a change of Momentum, this pattern is just consolidation of the upside Momentum phase. Ive seen fighting trend kill a lot of traders, do not get biased in this market on 1 red day or even 2. Follow and stick with trend. Take profit constantly, were not here to gamble were here to make $$.
